Develop a Database to Analyze and Visualize Hotel Booking Data

Stakeholder Requirements

2. Should the parking lot size ?
3. What trends can we see in the data?

Findings

There were two types of hotels, i.e. City hotels and Resort Hotels, on segmenting the two we see that more that 50% of the total revenue comes from City Hotels.

We see that there is a greater parking requirement in Resort Hotels owing to guest traveling with their families on vacations, hence looking at increasing the parking capacity in the Resort properties would be beneficial.

Looking at seasonality and the trend of bookings flowing on, a lot of the revenue is bought in by bookings made by Travel Agents and there is an increase in the bookings during the months of August and September .
